Nogal Walnut/Oak/Curly Maple/Acacia Chevron Cutting Board with Juice Groove

Handmade edge grain cutting board measures approximately 11.25" x 17.5" x 1.25".  This board has a juice groove.

Edge grain cutting surfaces are considered knife-friendly and more hygienic compared to other materials like plastic or glass cutting boards. Edge-grain cutting boards are constructed by gluing together strips of premium hardwoods side by side leaving the wood fibers to run horizontally.  Knife marks on the board can easily be removed with a light sanding and application of a food grade mineral oil and wax to reveal a fresh, new cutting surface.
